The only Conservative synagogue in the Portland metro area, Congregation Neveh Shalom has deep roots in the local Jewish community. A central part of its members’ lives, Neveh Shalom offers many religious, social, cultural, and educational programs and services, helping members and the wider community come together to strengthen individuals and families, build lifelong and multi-generational friendships, and create greater meaning for Jewish life in the Northwest.

As strong as the congregation is with 1,000 affiliated families, most members will tell you the key to a fulfilling experience in the congregation is taking the initiative and getting involved. What can you do? Join a committee to meet other congregants and work on shared interests. Actively participate in Havurot, affinity groups, or Tikkum Olam projects. Regularly attend worship services. All members can create their own personalized connection to the synagogue and engage with other congregants who want to do the same. Our wonderful staff is here to assist you.
