The Feldstein Library, located on the main floor of Congregation Neveh Shalom, boasts the most robust collection of Jewish books containing approximately l0,000 volumes and media items on various aspects of Jewish life, history, and culture.

Our book holdings include strengths in several areas: Contemporary Jewish related fiction, Jewish lifecycle, Jewish thought, customs, history, and Bible, folktales, humor, cooking, literature, biographies, and the ceremonial art. We also feature a wide spectrum of traditional Jewish texts, general reference materials, and a collection of Jewish periodicals.

During the past several years, our collection of electronic items of Jewish interest for all ages has grown. We provide wireless internet access as well as 2 computer stations with internet accessibility.

Other strengths of our Library include the following:

* The newest novels and popular works on Jewish topics
* Support of the Religious School and adult education curricula
* A wide variety of picture/chapter books for children of all ages
* Reference CD-Roms available for use in the Library
* Convenient hours (include Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings)
* Materials and assistance for Bar/Bat Mitzvah d’var Torah preparation
* A Jewish parenting section
