What binds people together? At Neveh Shalom, we like to believe it’s a community, a family larger than your own – an extended family, our CNS family.
One of the most important gifts that we can give our children, our parents and ourselves is the knowledge and comfort that we are part of something larger than ourselves – we are not alone. Through worship, study, community and tikkun olam we connect with each other. Participating and committing to preserving and enriching our synagogue community is an important part of what has sustained our Jewish heritage for almost 6,000 years.
We look forward to your full participation as a member of Neveh Shalom, where each person can discover a meaningful role. At the same time, we recognize that Judaism is not “one size fits all.” Given the diversity of our members and their varied interests, we seek to offer an array of service offerings, a full breadth of educational offerings and programs for each member. We offer many wonderful paths to help you find and create community at Neveh Shalom.
What is the process for joining Neveh Shalom?
It’s easy! Contact Daniela Meltzer, Membership & Engagement Director at email@example.com or call at 503-293-7313. She will answer questions about Neveh Shalom and show you around our facility, introduce you to clergy, school directors and program director.
What are your special skills? Add your name to a list of congregants looking to share their talents. Let us know how you would like to be involved!
If you are ready to join and would just like to “fill out the paperwork.” Please view and print the membership packet below (feel free to call our office for a copy of your own or stop by to pick one up).
