Enjoy our beautiful NW summer evenings singing, praying and schmoozing! (Weather permitting).

Tot Shabbat
1st & 3rd Saturday of every month at 10:15 am.
A fun and engaging service for families with babies, toddlers, and children up to age 5. Join our skilled early childhood educators their good friend Shabbos Mouse for Neveh Shalom’s liveliest Shabbat service. Bagel lunch following the service.

Do not miss Rabbi Porath, a popular national speaker who is in town for just a few days! This is a popular and very fun presentation geared toward all adults. Sachs to our congregation.  Prof. Sachs will be speaking at the Shavuot service on Monday, June 13 prior to Yizkor, about 10:30am.  His talk will be titled “The Ethics of Sustainable Development” Everyone is invited and welcome. Willamette Falls Tour and Hike with Shomrei Teva (CNS Environmental Group)
Friday, July 8th, 8:15am-1:00pm – Meet at Neveh Shalom (please note new time)
Join Shomrei Tevaniks on Friday, July 8, 2016 for a guided tour of the new Willamette Falls Legacy Project in Oregon City.  The tour will be from 9-10:30.  Afterward we’ll go to the nearby Camassia Natural Area for a short hike, including time for a picnic lunch.  Meet at Neveh Shalom at 8:15am to carpool and return by 1:00pm.  Bring a simple picnic lunch and water.  We still have about 5 places left.  Questions or to RSVP: contact Jordan Epstein or 503-245-6580.

Join us for a special low-key Shabbat service outside with local Jewish songwriter/performer, Beth Hamon. Also featuring Steven Skolnik on percussion and Neveh’s own Sharon Fendrich on vocals.  Please bring your favorite lawn chair and a dairy-friendly picnic. We’ll provide cold drinks and ice cream!

Texas Hold’em Charity Poker Tournament at CNS
Sunday, July 17, 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
Bring your poker face for a Texas Hold’em Tournament w/ Men’s Club. Register now to hold your spot for this fantastic event. Your registration includes: coffee, soft drinks, beer, bagels & spreads, snacks & tournament play.  Event is open to men and women 18 and over. You will be playing for a prize pool of $700 (based on 50 paid registrations and will be in the form of gift cards).  Top 6 players will earn prizes.  Add-ons and re-buys will be available. Doors open at 12:30 pm. Registration due by July 11. Registration after this date will cost $10 more. Habitat For Humanity Build

No Building Skills Required…they’ll show you how to do it!
Join Volunteers From Neveh Shalom and Bilal Mosque 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a great opportunity to do a Good Deed for our community. If you have volunteered before you know this event offers a great feeling that makes a real difference in a family’s life and gives something very important back to the community.
