Tichon (7th-12th Grade)

October 30, 2019 | 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until April 22, 2020

7th-12th graders at Neveh Shalom stay engaged in Jewish learning and social life through our ALIYAH Tichon program on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:30pm. Core classes allow students to stay with their grade and engage in high-level conversation about important topics from a Jewish lens, whether historical (world Jewry, Israel, Holocaust) or contemporary (current events, social ethics, inter-religious relations). Elective classes provide a fun and active framework to participate in Jewish cooking, art, improv, or debate classes. 12th graders engage in a senior seminar with Rabbi Kosak to prepare to take the next steps in Jewish leadership.
