DESCRIPTION:Calling all poets\, writers\, and the creatively curious! Join us for this 5-part generative workshop as we delve into the creative process through the lens of the Torah portion Toldot. Over the course of five weeks\, we will explore different aspects of this sacred text\, which focuses on the stories of Isaac\, Rebecca\, Jacob\, and Esau. Together\, we’ll engage in a poetic and interpretive exploration of these ancient\, yet personal\, stories. \nParticipants will learn about the midrashic process—a creative and interpretive approach to sacred stories—and will craft their own unique poetic midrash each week. \nBrian Rohr\, author of Shaken to My Bones: A Poetic Midrash on the Torah\, will guide this journey of discovery\, blending storytelling\, poetry\, and reflective interpretation. \nCost: $70 for CNS members/$90 for non-members \nTo register–click here.
