Their staff are also people of many religions\, ethnicities\, and genders.  ALYN Hospital established an Innovation Space which brings together entrepreneurs\, industry leaders\, families\, and experts with the vision of transforming the ecosystem of children’s assistive devices and promoting inclusive design. \nPresenter:  Maurits Beeri\, MD\, is the director general of ALYN Hospital Pediatric Rehabilitation Center in Jerusalem. She is a board-certified pediatrician\, having trained at Hebrew University Hadassah Medical Center\, and received a MPA from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University as a Wexner Israel Fellow. She serves on the Israeli Ministry of Health National Committee for Pediatrics and Rehabilitation and is a consultant to many organizations.  She received an honorary PhD from the Open University of Israel. Dr. Beeri will also spend some time describing her perspective on what is currently occurring in Israel. \n

Over the course of five weeks\, we will explore different aspects of this sacred text\, which focuses on the stories of Isaac\, Rebecca\, Jacob\, and Esau. The same Hebrew root is also found in Shabbat\, the day of rest\, and the word for returning. As our awareness returns\, like Shabbat\, we are refreshed and restored.
