Canceled YAFE: Israeli Fest for Gesher (6-8th Graders)

Saturday, October 29, 6:00-8:30pm Calling all 6-8th graders! You are invited to explore the magic of modern Israel by joining YAFE associate Sarah Rohr and other teens in the making of delicious Israeli food, playing fun Israeli games, and listening to great Israeli music, with activities led by Gitit Dekel. Start date, Saturday, November 5, 1:00-2:00pm All youth aged 7-17 are invited to join the new CNS Jewish Chess Club, taught by Jonathan Pulvers who has 20 years of expertise in teaching chess, contract bridge,  and political science. Jonathan will be leading a class once a month, on the first Saturdays of the month, after kiddush lunch (all are welcome to join in lunch beforehand). $10 per student per monthly lesson to cover the training ... YAFE: Mitzvah Patrol – Hamentaschen Baking (Grades K-6 and Parents)

Sunday, January 15, Noon – 1:00pm, CNS Kitchen K-6th graders and parents are invited to the Neveh Shalom kitchen to help bake gluten-free hamentaschen for Neveh Shalom's Mishloach Manot Purim fundraiser. We will be using Goldie Stampfer's (z"l) recipe, updated to be gluten-free for the families that need them.
