Youth Activities (3rd-12th grades)

Our mission is to foster a vibrant and inclusive community that empowers Jewish youth in grades 3rd-12th to explore, celebrate, and embrace their cultural and spiritual identity. Through exciting, engaging, and age-appropriate activities, we aim to cultivate lifelong connections, values of kindness, and social responsibility.

Our commitment is to provide a safe and welcoming space where young minds can grow, friendships can flourish, and a love for Jewish traditions can take root, ensuring a bright and meaningful future for our community.

3rd-6th graders

3rd-6th graders are invited to join us throughout the year for lunch & play on Sunday afternoons, a forest walk/Sukkot dinner, color war with our local camp staff, PJ movie night, and more!

7th-12th graders

7th – 12th graders: come on your own or bring a friend to a twilight gathering to begin the year, new teen experiences for Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur, a service project in the sukkah, havdalah plus glow-in-the-dark games, and a Chanukah party “Chopped” Challenge!

Our Partners

Our Youth Activities programs collaborate with our local camps as well as regional and national USY (United Synagogue Youth) opportunities. These allow our youth to connect with other kids and teens throughout Portland, the Pacific Northwest, and beyond.
