Shoreshim and Anafim – Programming for families with kids ages 0-2nd grade

Shoreshim means “roots.” The Shoreshim community at Neveh Shalom is dedicated to creating meaningful and fun educational, religious, and social events for young families that have children ages 0-5. Anafim means “branches.”

Anafim means “branches.” The Anafim community intends to continue building relationships as families grow from kindergarten through 2nd grade.

We invite you to join us! We host vibrant and well attended Shabbat programming twice a month. Throughout the year, our committee also hosts special Shabbat dinners and Havdallah, organizes age-appropriate activities at congregational events for holidays, and plans fun outings like berry picking, story time at the farmers market, and more.

We are run by volunteers and we would love your help! Community meetings and planning is fun, social, and open to all. Contact us to sign up for “The Shoreshim Connection,” our monthly guide to happenings, and watch for further details about all of the great things going on this year.
