Shoreshim – Young Families2018-08-22T13:00:00+00:00

Shoreshim Programming for families with kids ages 0-5 years old.

Shoreshim means “roots.” The Shoreshim committee at Neveh Shalom is dedicated to creating meaningful and fun educational, religious, and social events for young families that have children ages 0-5. We invite you to join us! We host vibrant and well attended Tot Shabbats twice a month. Throughout the year, our committee also hosts special Shabbat dinners and havdallah, organizes age-appropriate activities at congregational events, and plans fun outings.

This year we are introducing a new Young Family Shul Pass. For an additional $180 to your membership dues, you are entitled to four holiday dinners (Simchat Torah, Chanukah, Purim, and Shavuot) and three PJ Havadallahs. To sign up and for more information, please contact the main office, 503.246.8831.

We are run by volunteers and we would love your help! Committee meetings and planning is fun, social, and open to all. Contact news@nevehshalom.org to sign up for “The Shoreshim Connection,” our monthly guide to happenings, and watch for further details about all of the great things going on this year.
