Join us Every Friday this Summer at 6:15pm for our Shabbat on the Plaza!

Shabbat on the Plaza offers an outdoor, spiritual service in the beauty of the Holzman Plaza followed by a nosh and time for Kehillah. It’s a space for contemplation, inspiration, and connection, designed to nurture both the spirit and community ties.

Shabbat on the Plaza Expectations

We’re excited to welcome you back for a season of joyful summer Shabbatot. To help create a safe, welcoming experience for all please see these important reminders regarding Shabbat on the Plaza.

🚗 Please drive slowly in the parking lot and watch for speed bumps.
♿ The roundabout will be closed. Those needing drop-off can access the ramp by the first handicap spot.
🪑 Fill in seats to make room for everyone.
💛 Be kind and patient with catering, security, and CNS staff working to ensure a safe and pleasant experience.
🗑️ Dispose of your trash and recycling.
🕣 Closing time is 8:30 pm out of respect for our neighbors.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Children 0–12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, including on the lower Courtyard.
🚪 Children 0–12 are to remain inside the Plaza gates until the conclusion of services.
🕍 Treat the synagogue and its facilities gently and with reverence.
🤝 Be gentle and do not touch others without consent.
🚶 Walk through communal areas with consideration for others.
🤍 Use calm voices and kind words.
