Let’s gelt together for a lively afternoon of Chanukah celebration! Don’t miss the fun as our CNS kehillah comes together for an afternoon brimming with joy, connection, and festive spirit for all ages. There’s something for everyone!

Latke Bar | Community Candle-Lighting | Games | Arts & Crafts | Music 

Please remember to bring packages of toilet paper, hats, and gloves for our annual mitzvah projects. Thank you.

Latkes and Vodka 2025

Latkes & Vodka Party

Tuesday, December 16, 5:30-9:00pm 

Join us for a festive, adults-only evening filled with live musicdancingfooddrinks, and fun!  Groove along to the sounds of Ellis Street while enjoying latkes, a light dairy supper, and vodka, of course (other drink options, too)!  Perfect for a date night or friends’ night out!  Come partake in any or all of the components below:

5:30-6:00pm: Schmooze & Cocktails
6:00-6:30pm: Community Candle Lighting & Chanukah Songs
6:30-7:15pm: Dinner
7:15-8:30pm: Dancing

Youth and Teen Chanukah Programs

Tichon and Teen Chanukah Party (All Teens Welcome grades 7-12)

Wednesday, December 17, 6:30-8:30pm

Celebrate Chanukah at CNS with an exciting evening of latkes, improv, art & more! We’ll kick off with deep-frying & close out our celebration with Hanukkah-themed karaoke (or, as Meg likes to call it, Chanukaraoke). Gather your friends & raise the sparks with tunes old & new!

Early Childhood Center Chanukah Sing Along

Friday December 19, 3:30-4:15pm (Families 0-2nd Grade)

Come join us for a fun and cozy celebration of Chanukah! We’ll sing our favorite songs, read some stories, and light candles together.

No RSVP needed. All are welcome—for children ages 0-2nd grade. Contact Candace Rothstein with any questions.

Winter Tikkun Olam Drives

Chanukah Mitzvah Moment! Support our Winter Tikkun Olam Drives, drop off in the lobby or at any Chanukah event now through December 28.

Toilet Paper Menorah

Help the CNS Men’s Club build a miraculous TP menorah while contributing to a great cause! Your wrapped packages of toilet paper will go to support clients in need at Neighborhood House.

Kids’ Winter Hats and Gloves Drive

Congregation Neveh Shalom is proud to partner with Project Lemonade to collect new gloves and hats, size 5 to adult. The Project Lemonade store in Lloyd Center allows foster youth to shop for free, helping them stay warm in the winter months.
