It is always a joy to come together on the darkest nights of the year to celebrate the miracle of Chanukah. This year, we invite all of our kehillah to join us each night as we come together to light the candles as a community. Please see below for the schedule and links. Also, on the eighth night, there is a special nation-wide candle lighting and performance that you will not want to miss. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Men’s Club Toilet Paper Drive for Neighborhood House
Many years ago when Men’s Club hosted an annual Chanukah party at the synagogue, our dear friend and Men’s Club member, Ben Philan (z”l), had the idea to collect toilet paper for Neighborhood House, a local nonprofit in Multnomah Village. Sadly, Ben passed away in 2016 but his idea lives on! When we could celebrate Chanukah in Birnbach Hall, we built a Chanukiah out of the donated rolls!
It’s that time of year to again begin collecting rolls of toilet paper to donate to Neighborhood House. It’s a true mitzvah for their clients in need. Even though we can’t be together to light candles, enjoy latkes, and sing Chanukah songs, we can still fulfill our mitzvah of collecting the toilet paper!
You can drop off the toilet paper during the Chanukah Bag Pick-up, or at other times in the upper plaza outside the office doors between 10am-2pm by December 10. You can also make a monetary donation to our Men’s Club toilet paper drive by sending a donation in any amount to our treasurer:
14480 SW Chardonnay Ave
Tigard, OR 97224
You can designate Toilet Paper Drive on your check.
Thank you for supporting this effort. We will be back together again next Chanukah to build our Chanukiah! Men’s Club wishes you a safe and healthy Chanukah and New Year.
