From Russia with Love – Kabbalat Shabbat inside the main sanctuary!
July 30, 2021 | 6:15 pm - 7:00 pm
From Russia with Love – Summer Kabbalat Shabbat! – Fridays, 6:15pm
Come cool down at Friday night services with Rabbi Eve and guest Service Leader, Beth Hamon. We will be holding services INSIDE our air-conditioned sanctuary. This will be an especially soul lifting service to help bring some chill to the warm weekend. Following services, we would love for you to stay and enjoy Oneg Shabbat on our shaded Plaza. We will be celebrating From Russia with Love with special guest, August Watters playing the mandolin and delicious Russian fare for all of us to enjoy. We hope to see you and to welcome in Shabbat with you! Please remember while you are not noshing on blintzes and borscht, masks are highly encouraged but optional outdoors.
Our Summer Shabbat festivities will continue through Labor Day. (Only 6 left!) Please stay tuned to our Wednesday and Friday email blasts to find out more about each week’s exciting new take on celebrating Kabbalat Shabbat together!
_______________________________________________
In the event of bad weather, we will be moving indoors and will communicate this via email.
All visitors eligible to be vaccinated are expected to be vaccinated – this expectation will be the “honor system” – proof of vaccination will not be required.
The above “honor system” notwithstanding, we are requesting that congregants and guests provide advance documentation of vaccination status. This request will help with the various logistics involved in CNS programs, services, meetings, etc. You may provide vaccination documentation by clicking here.
Children under the age of 12 and those not eligible for vaccination are welcome to attend services/programs in the building.
Only come if you are feeling healthy and remember to bring your own kippah and tallit. Appropriate and correctly fitted (covering nose and mouth) face masks are required indoors and highly encouraged outdoors.
We are looking forward to continuing this process of fully welcoming back our in-person community to the synagogue campus and the various programs that bring us together.
We will still be video live-streaming the service if you are not able or comfortable joining us.
