Jewish Ukraine Kabbalat Shabbat
Friday, July 8, 6:15pm, Holzman Plaza
We are looking forward to welcoming you to our Friday Night Kabbalat Shabbat service on the Holzman Plaza.
At this service and oneg, we will honor Ukrainian Jewish culture through song, food, and conversation.
We are excited to be offering Ukrainian food, prepared by Pelmeni Pelmeni Ukrainian/Slavic restaurant, which will include Ukrainian Borsht, Potato Vareniki, Sweet Cheese Vareniki, Pastries, and Kvas Malt, a Ukrainian malt drink. Rabbi Kosak will also facilitate a discussion regarding the current situation in Ukraine.
If the weather cooperates, which is to be expected, we will be on the Holzman Plaza. If not, we will be in the Stampfer Chapel. Either way, let us celebrate together, rain or shine!
We will still have our livestream options: Click here to join the Holzman Plaza livestream. (If we have to move indoors, click here to join the Stampfer Chapel livestream).
