Sunday, January 8, 12:00-2:00pm We are so pleased to announce that Cooking for Outside In is back! One Sunday a month, CNS congregants of all ages can gather in the Neveh Shalom kitchen. The first gathering will take place on Sunday, January 8th from 12-2pm, to prepare a full meal for our houseless youth at Outside In, whose mission is to help homeless youth move toward improved health and self-sufficiency. Wise Women is a friendly group that provides an opportunity for women to come together, socialize, and empower one another in a casual environment. Meetings are monthly, typically on the 3rd Thursday from 12-1pm at CNS with some exceptions. Please check our e-blast for upcoming gathering locations. Open to all ages and stages, this is a great chance to foster friendship within our kehillah.

Dignity Grows Volunteer Registration Come volunteer to pack with our Dignity Grows chapter. We will be packing totes and enjoying a get-to-know-you social time. Each Dignity Tote provides comprehensive monthly personal and menstrual hygiene products to women, girls, and individuals who cannot afford these supplies. Join Leora, our librarian, in sorting through Rabbi Stampfer’s large collection of books, the ones that did not go to the OJMCHE that is. We will be hunting for books that need to be buried. In between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, there is a beautiful custom for families to gather at our cemeteries to recite special readings and hear the memorial prayers graveside.
