FIND YOUR TRIBE: we have four different levels of youth groups.

CHAVERIM for K-2nd graders
Chaverim means “friends.” This is an activities group for kids in K through 2
nd grade. We’ll have activities monthly following one of our ALIYAH sessions. Parents are invited to stay & get to know one another while kids play games or create works of art & innovation. This group will foster bonds between kids, getting them ready to step up to the next level of our youth groups.

 Upcoming Events:
Sept 7 – Back to Shul
    Sept 28 – Apples & Honey
    Oct 26 – Pumpkin Painting
Nov 9 – Experiment PDX field trip
    Dec 14 – Dreidel Spin-art Apron Painting

NOAR for 3rd-5th graders
Noar means “youth.” This is our youth group for kids in 3
rd through 5th grade. Join your friends & make new ones through a series of hands-on creative activities, adventures, movie nights, & more. Sometimes we’ll explore new ways to look at Jewish traditions & sometimes we’ll just plain have fun together.

 Upcoming Events:
    Aug 17 – Water Gun T-shirt Painting
Sept 7 – Back to Shul
Oct 12 – Local Lulav Project
Nov 16 – Hopscotch field trip
Dec 27 – Movie Night & White Elephant
INTRODUCING MINI MINYAN! A bi-weekly Shabbat morning service in the Youth Lounge just for NOAR.
We’ll learn davening together & parse the weekly Torah portion through skits, legos, parsha-rades, & more.
First & third Saturday mornings, monthly at 10:30am in the Youth Lounge.
Begins on Sept 6th.

GESHER for 6th-8th graders
Gesher means “bridge.” This is our youth group for kids in 6th through 8th grade. Middle school can be some of the most challenging years in a kid’s life, but having a place to hang out, make friends, & express their Jewish selves makes it easier. We’ll have Saturday afternoon hangouts in the Youth Lounge, potluck Kabbalat dinners, adventures, sleepovers, & more.

 Upcoming Events:
    Aug 20 – Twilight Gathering
Sept 7 – Back to Shul
Sept 13 – After Shul Special hangout

BOGRIM for 9th-12th graders
Bogrim means “mature.” This is our youth group for high school aged kids in 9
th through 12th grade. As they are beginning to look toward their future, kids often get bogged down trying to fill their college resumes with the “right” enrichment activities. In Bogrim, we’ll emphasize having fun & relaxing hangouts where we can explore what it means to grow up & take on responsibilities & pressures of a more mature life or just chill & watch funny movies together.
